The largest campground in Yosemite Valley, walking distance to Mirror Lake and Happy Isles trailheads.

Shade reality: Tall pines and cedars give most sites good shade, but valley walls delay sunrise and bring early sunset.

Season: Open year-round. In winter only the first two loops (about 90 sites) stay open, and reservations are required all year. Official page ↗

Sites 1–240 in several unnamed loops off one entrance road — no hookups anywhere in Yosemite Valley. Camp hosts at sites 50 and 52; dump station at the entrance. Max RV 35 ft / trailer 24 ft.
