The only in-park campground on the Grand Canyon's North Rim, in ponderosa forest at 8,200 ft on the edge of the Transept. Reopened 1 June 2026 after the Dragon Bravo Fire, with reduced services.

Shade reality: High-elevation ponderosa and aspen forest — most sites well shaded; rim-edge sites (11–18, T1–T6) are more open toward the Transept gorge. Note that our canopy data is from 2020, before the 2025 Dragon Bravo Fire burned across the North Rim, so shade here may read as more generous than what is standing today.
