Elk-filled meadows at the gateway to Bear Lake corridor trails, above Estes Park. Fully rehabilitated and reopened in 2025 with new electric sites.

Shade reality: Scattered ponderosa on an open moraine — expect strong midday sun at many sites; afternoon storms are common.

Season: Open year-round. The reservable summer season runs May 21 – Oct 19; through winter, Loop A (sites 1–62) and Loops B, C and E stay open first-come. Official page ↗
